Project Story
Mount Kisco Community Solar is the first municipal community solar project in Westchester County! Built on a closed landfill, the project is designed to benefit Mount Kisco residents who enroll, providing electric bill savings and clean local energy. BQ Energy, the solar developer, has a special expertise in building solar projects on landfills and returning those sites to productive use while helping to drive the transition to clean renewable power. Subscribers must live in or operate their organizations in Mount Kisco.
